Sanfrecce Youth’s NOTSUDA Gakuto and HIRATA Makoto played the second half for Japan U17, as they again lost during their tour of Mexico, 0-1 to Deportivo Toluca U20.

Sanfrecce Youth pair NOTSUDA Gakuto and HIRATA Makoto both started in the Japan U17 National Team’s 1-2 loss against Cruz Azul U20 at the Cruz Azul Stadium (Estadio Azul).

2011-03-29 Samurai Blue (Japan NT) 2-1 Team As One (J League)

The Japanese national team beat the J League “Team as One” 2-1 at Osaka’s Nagai Stadium.

40,613 were in attendance as they watched 44-year-old Yokohama FC striker “King” Kazu MIURA pull a goal back for the J League side. The Japan NT’s goals were scored by Gamba’s ENDO Yasuhito and Stuttgart’s OKAZAKI Shinji.

Sanfrecce Hiroshima Youth forward NOTSUDA Gakuto appeared as a substitute in the Japan U17 National Team’s 0-1 loss against Mexico U17 at the Hidalgo Stadium (Estadio Hidalgo).

Sanfrecce’s captain fantastic SATO Hisato has been named in the J League’s “Team as One” for the upcoming charity match against the Japan National team in Osaka on 29 March.

2011-03-22 Updated fixture list announced

The J League have announced that, in addition to postponing all games in March, there will be four games postponed in April. The next game for Sanfrecce therefore, will be the 24 April clash at the Big Arch against Gamba Osaka.

Sanfrecce’s reserve goalkeeper, NAKABAYASHI Hirotsugu, is reported to have sustained an injury to his right medial knee ligament, and will be out for a month. The injury was sustained during the charity match against Avispa Fukuoka.
