Nagai Stadium, Osaka - stefanole

The Japanese national team’s upcoming Kirin Cup friendlies against Montenegro and New Zealand have both been cancelled according to goal.com. The Japanese FA had previously confirmed that the matches would go ahead.

The match against Montenegro was scheduled for 25 March at the Ecopa Stadium in Shizuoka, while the New Zealand match was scheduled for 29 March at the “Kokuritsu”, the National Stadium in Tokyo. The Japanese FA had previously considered moving the latter to Osaka, and wanted to organise a charity game against New Zealand at Cerezo Osaka’s Nagai Stadium.

This offer was apparently declined however, so now the Nagai Stadium will instead host a charity match between the JNT and a J-League XI, according to Sponichi. The match will be held on the 29th of March.
