Sanfrecce Youth’s NOTSUDA Gakuto and HIRATA Makoto played the second half for Japan U17, as they again lost during their tour of Mexico, 0-1 to Deportivo Toluca U20.

The match was against the Toluca U20 side after all, although this was not made clear by the JFA before the fact.

The Japan U17 can avoid a whitewash by beating the Mexico U17 side on 3 April.
